from: Oze Parrot

Whether you are a novice or veteran trekker you will need advice on where to find the next most exciting and suitable world destination to be explored. By consulting experienced trekkers that have explored a number of continents, you will soon discover that Australia is a first class trekking destination that is revered by many for it's spectacular scenery, rugged mountain landscapes, harsh desert plains and vast wilderness areas.

The Australian continent lies just 10 degree south of the equator and the eastern seaboard extends to 38 degrees south, with the island state of Tasmania being 42 degrees south. The eastern coast of Australia is the most populous area of the country and is also the most diverse, comprising of lush rainforests, barren deserts, fertile plains, rugged mountains, snowfields, ski resorts magnificent beaches and wilderness areas.

Their are many other fascinating destinations to explore in Australia, including Ayers Rock, a major tourist attraction in the centre of Australia, Kakadu National Park in the top end, kalgoorlie gold fields in the west and many others. An adventure tourist can name any activity that he would like to participate in and rest assured that he can do it in Australia.

There are many trekking expeditions advertised in Australia and choosing the one that will suit you best is somewhat of a conundrum. Consult the Internet, explore the trekking searches, join online forums, e-mail fellow trekkers and checkout the trekking reviews. There are dozens of reviews listed in the search engines, check out the ones that include or are based in Australia and you will get the latest travel information on the most popular trekking venues in Australia.

Generally the best reviews consist of one page with links pointing to informative sites that are displaying current reports about travel trekking and weather conditions in your selected destination in Australia. Make sure that any review that you check is based on reliable information, if there are regular and recent posts from accredited sources that you can contact to confirm details with, then the information supplied will help you to make an informed decision.

Reviews are a great source of information and the avid trekker needs as much information as he can get, so that he is able to select the most exciting adventures that the world has to offer.

Making a decision to trek Australia could lead to the adventure of a lifetime and an experience that one can relate to, time and time again.
