Once romanticized as The Orient Express, this epic train journey begins in Moscow and ends about a week later (travel time varies) in Vladivostok on Russia’s Pacific coast. People who have taken this trip say it is similar to a cruise ship experience because passengers get to know each other. The scenery, they say, is most spectacular in winter.
